In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The BONAVENTURE and the WOOLWICH are expected in the Downs at any time. Their provisions are to be made up to four months for a voyage to Portugal as are their stores. The LION has been ordered into Sheerness for fitting out in order to convey the King from Holland to England. The Board is also to advise what Yard the GREENWICH is to go into for refitting; and the DEFIANCE is to laid up at Woolwich and paid off. Her Foremast men are to be turned over into the VANGUARD at the Nore.
