In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Enclosure: Unsigned draught report referring to Admiralty instructions concerning the hiring of Advice Boats and showing the results of research as follows. The names of seven vessels are put forward together with information concerning where they were built, where they can now be found, their owners and their tonnages which range from thirty-five to one hundred and sixty. A note is appended opining that the GOODWIN Prize would make a better Advice Boat than any of those listed.
