Enclosing an extract of a letter from Captain Middleton Commander of the FALCON at Shoreham in which he proposes hiring some men from Brighthelmstone [Brighton] as Riggers to assist in repairing his ship. Instructions are given to hire the men provided either that they are proficient as riggers or have worked for the Navy previously.
