In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Sir John Trenchard, Principal Secretary of State, has warned of the possibility of War Ships being set on fire in port. The admiralty is to issue instructions to tighten security and to apprehend all person unable to explain their presence aboard the ships - especially Irishmen.
