In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

The Navy Board having advised that the new Fourth Rate being built by Mr Snelgrove will soon be ready to launch, the Admiralty instruct them to negotiate with Snelgrove for another 60 gun Fourth Rate on good terms. Instructions are also given for the Navy Board to negotiate with Robert Castle of Deptford for a 50 gun Fourth Rate and to report on the outcome.
