Approval is given for Master attendant and Second Assistant who recently joined HM Shipyard at Portsmouth to receive the same salary and housing allowance as their counterparts at Chatham. Captain Ayles, one of the Commissioners of Victualling to be sent to the Mediterranean is to be allowed Four hundred pounds a year for expenses during the time he is away on service and is to be granted an advance of two hundred pounds.
