In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
1. The CONCEPTION, Prize, having been cast and dismantled at New England, is to be sold by inch of the candle and some fitting person is to be appointed to deal with the sale and to send the proceeds to the Treasurer of the Navy.
2. The proposal to transport the 1,000 Marine Soldiers to join Admiral Russell's Fleet in a convoy of Victualling Ships destined for Cadiz is accepted. Arrangements with the Commissioner of the Victualling are to be made.
3. The privately owned bank of earth at the south side of the Woolwich Yard is causing nuisance and expense because it continually requires shoring up. It's owner has offered to reduce its height to 3 feet below that of the boundary wall in consideration of a payment of £150. If the work can be completed at that price, it is to be carried out.
