In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
By our Orders of the 25th September last you were directed to to cause three months Dry Provisions for the Fleet in the Mediterranean under the command of Admiral Russell to be provided and got ready to be sent away about Christmas.
By our Order of of the 24th September last you were directed to order the Victualling Commissioners to carry these victuals to the Straights and deliver them either at Cadiz Bay or attend the Fleet as the Admiral shall direct.
We direct you to give an account when you expect these to be sent away.
We further direct you to order the Victualling Commissioners to hasten the ships with the first three months Provisions ordered to the Straights, to the Downs,with all possible dispatch, and to let us know when they are all there.
