In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We direct you to forthwith set up and build as soon as possible eight new Bomb vessels, either in their Majesties' Yards or in the Merchants' Yards, by Contract according as you judge best for the service.
In case any Bomb vessels are so defective and not fit to repair you are then to order more to be built to make up the total Bomb vessels now in being up to twenty two, sending us the Estimate of Charges of building and fitting them for Sea.
