I have received your letter of yesterday's date with a Copy of one from the Victualling Commissioners concerning Oatmeal ordered to be sent to the Mediterranean Fleet. The Admiralty Commissioners command me to inform you that notwithstanding the Report of Admiral Russell having taken several Newfoundland Ships they direct that the whole proportion of Oat meal be sent to the said Fleet. If the Victualling Commissioners need money to provide the same, they should solicit the Treasury.
