In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

We have received your letter of the 11th inst; concerning the Bomb vessels lately ordered to be built, and asking to be informed whether they are to carry one or two Mortars, and of what dimensions, shape, fashion etc; they are to be.
We direct you to send for Colonel Richards to your Board, and having consulted with him about these buildings, give such directions as you think fit for their Majesties' service.
