In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Your letter of the 12th inst informed us that the new fourth Rate building at Bristol, which we have named the GLOUCESTER, will be ready to be launched the next Spring, or the first in January at the latest.
We direct you to cause her to be launched as soon as convenient, and fitted for Channel service, manned to her highest Complement of Men, and victualled for four months.
