A Petition has been presented to this Board by the Executrix of Walter Finnis, late Lieutenant of the PORTSMOUTH, stating that his Journal of the proceedings of the Ship were accidentally lost by his Mother since his death.
We direct that his Wages should be paid to such as lawfully empowered to receive them if there are no objections other than the loss of the Journal.
