Document signed by William Bridgeman, c.1646-1699, English civil servant and Secretary to the Admiralty between 1694 and 1698.

I have shown your letter of yesterday to the Admiralty Commissioners and inform you that you may expect Orders for for launching the new Ships mentioned therein, and for setting up a 5th Rate at Sheerness. The SOLEBAY being ready for Sea, if not already gone, the Commissioners do not think it fit to order any of her Men to assist Captain Moody in securing the YARMOUTH when launched, but have directed the Flag at Chatham to send 40 Seamen to Harwich to perform that service.
Orders are likewise given for the Cadiz Convoy to take care of the BENJAMIN going there with Stores which is forced into Plymouth.
I have received a letter from the Commander of the hired ship CORONATION concerning want of Provisions at Milford, and also another from the Victualling agent there on the same subject .I am sending a copy of this letter for your information and you are to give such Orders as you think necessary.
Commissioner Greenhill is appointed as Commissioner of Peace for Cornwall.
