In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Our Secretary has communicated to this Board your letter concerning the Provisions ordered to be provided for the two thousand Land Soldiers intended for the Straights Fleet. We direct you to cause the Soldiers to be victualled at whole allowance for two months, which victualling is to be reckoned as part of the Declaration, they being intended to be put on board the respective Ships as part of their Complement.
