In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Captain Wylde, Commander of the new ship at Woolwich the LINCOLN, has requested a tender so that he may procure men for the ship. You are directed to furnish him with a vessel proper for that service and there is now a vessel in the Thames the BETTY which has been appointed to attend the LINCOLN. You are to have her discharged as soon as the frost shall break or the LINCOLN launched.
