In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
John Scatcliff, Master Carpenter of the NORWICH and Elias Long, Carpenter of the PRINCE OF ORANGE, were sent aboard the OWNERS LOVE fireship to survey her defects, and were detained on board by bad weather, their ships being gone to Virginia. You are directed, upon arrival of the OWNERS LOVE at Portsmouth, to have them entered in that yard and borne there until otherwise provided for by this Board.
