In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

We believe that several volunteers will enter themselves aboard ships at Plymouth and other ports pursuant to His Majesty's late proclamation and are to be employed as convoys and cruisers. We direct you to consider and give your opinion as to what manner is most proper to have these volunteers paid before their ships sail.
