The ships at Blackstakes begin to want provisions. The NEPTUNE has been forced to put 60 men on shore and has hardly any beer left and some of the rest have not 6 days provisions, so that if the frost continues this night, some measures will need to be taken for victualling the men at Chatham , Rochester and Strood. If the men come to town we shall be forced to give over the Press and be in danger of losing some that have already been entered
