In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Your letter of 28 January advised us that of the 49 Riggers to be discharged from Chatham, 33 are accordingly discharged, but though Riggers were ordered to Harwich to assist in rigging the YARMOUTH they had sailed before your orders were to hand. The other 16 to be discharged are now employed and we having advised you that men were ordered from the ships at Chatham to assist in rigging the YARMOUTH you are directed to have all the Riggers sent from Chatham returned to that yard. The 16 Riggers are to be discharged that they may be at liberty to enter themselves on board the YARMOUTH.
