In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Enclosing several accounts of the condition of ships in the Mediterranean last October showing the proportion of stores lacking. The Navy Board is to compare these accounts with their existing proposals to replenish them and report accordingly. They are also to advise whether they intend sending stores to the Straits to enable ships to remain in the Mediterranean until next September or bring the vessels home.
