In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Enclosure: Extract of a letter from Sir Edward Gregory in which he reports that he has launched the HOPE, taken in the KENT and relaunched the ROYAL WILLIAM, the latter with extreme difficulty; and that the BRITANNIA, SOVEREIGN and ROYAL WILLIAM have too much draught to be docked. They can, however, be careened safely despite the hazards posed by operating in the Bay of Biscay.
