The petition of Thomas Humphries seventy-six years of age who has endured much hardship in service and is now blind and deaf. He asks for favour and assistance in being granted an allowance. On the reverse is a request to the Navy Board to look into the matter and to report as to whether Humphries would qualify for a pension.
