Letter from Sir George Biddell Airy, Royal Observatory Greenwich, to George Ransome.

Airy recently met the Master of Trinity [College] and William Whewell at Cambridge and they agreed to attend the forthcoming British Association [for the Advancement of Science] meeting, if suitable lodgings can be found. Airy asks if Sir W. Middleton could invite them, if Ransome could give him a hint? Airy comments that he first mentioned this to Charles May at the Astronomical meeting but he'd be grateful for Ransome's assistance.
