Lord Nelson's Trafalgar dress sword ; Lord Nelson's sword versus Lord Denman's law, or, What is libel?

Poster advertising a forthcoming pamphlet by T.A. Evans, discussing a dispute over the authenticity of various Nelson relics, but most particularly a dress sword. The author, T.A. Evans had been accused in the pages of The Times of falsely selling a forged sword as a genuine relic. The pamphlet is promised to discuss "the recent trial at law against The Times, for libel, in which he was defeated" and to set forth further evidence of his probity and the item's authenticity.
