Tongariro (1883)
A 12x10 negative. A port near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Tongariro (1883) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is barque rigged with three yards on each of her fore and main masts and is flying the blue peter. A number of skiffs are in the foreground. Tilbury is in the background. the bottom right corner of the negative is missing.
