Universe (1875)
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the paddle tug Universe (1875) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. Her boat is on a painter astern. Tilbury is in the background. A large piece on the right side of the negative is missing. Negatives numbers G1658 and G1659 were taken on the same occasion.
