Valetta (1883)
A 12x10 negative. A starboard broadside view of the passenger/cargo liner Valetta (1883) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on the foremast, has awnings rigged aft and is flying the blue peter. The deckhouse ahead of the foremast has been extended. She has a white riband below the upper level of scuttles in her hull. Tilbury Fort gatehouse is in the background.
