Vasco De Gama (1873)

A whole plate negative. A slightly distant starboard near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Vasco De Gama (1873) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has an auxiliary barque rig and an awning is rigged ahead of her funnel. Her accommodation ladder has a canvas dodger. Tilbury Fort Watergate is in the background.
