Waiwera (1899)
A 10x8 negative. A distant port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Waiwera (1899) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames, prior to her maiden voyage to Wellington, New Zealand. She has four yards on her foremast. Tilbury is in the background. A copy negative made by the NMM Studio from a photographic print produced from a 12x10 glass plate negative which has subsequently been broken and discarded.
