Walamo (1871)
A whole plate negative. A starboard broadside view of the general cargo steamship Walamo (1871) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames, on the day she sailed on her maiden voyage to Bombay. She is brig rigged with three yards on each mast and she has a short funnel. A boiler with a tall thin eshaust is on deck between her bridge and funnel. Tilbury is in the background. The Walamo (1871) foundered is September 1873 and was never entered in Lloyd's Register.
