Warrior (1895)
A 12x10 negative. A port near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the screw tug Warrior (1895) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. Her boat is on a painter astern. She is flying a pilot jack, her name pennant and the Elliott Steam Tug Co house flag. Nine crew members are on board. Tilbury Fort Watergate is in the background. The original negative has been broken and a 10x8 safety film copy negative has been made from a 12x10 photographic print produced from the original negative in the 1950s before it was broken.
