Westmeath (1882)

A whole plate negative. A fair quality slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the general cargo steamship Westmeath (1882) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on her foremast and men are working at the mooring buoy. Tilbury Fort is in the background. Negatives numbers G1940 and G1952 were taken on the same occasion.
