Westmeath (1882)

A whole plate negative. A fair quality port near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the general cargo steamship Westmeath (1882) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on her foremast. A single funnelled tug is alongside her starboard side forward. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G1940 and G1952 were taken on the same occasion.
