An English ship off Gibraltar
Watercolour of an English 74-gun ship with other craft off the coast of Gibraltar. It is signed by the artist '[T] Richbell', who is likely to be Captain Thomas Richbell, who served in the navy, ending his career as head of the Thames River police. He was also an accomplished amateur artist exhibiting at the Royal Academy in 1803.
