English two-decker close hauled with a cutter under her stern
This undated drawing of a Royal Naval ship of the line, presumably somewhere off the southern British coast, has suffered dome damage including loss of its original upper corners. It is signed by the artist, lower left, in a rather more flowing style than often the case which suggests it might be an exhibition piece. Exhibited: NMM Pocock exhib. (1975) no. 70. [PvdM 10/08]
