Sailing barge on Lac Leman (Lake Geneva)
Medium includes graphite and grey wash. This appears to be two studies of the same Lake Geneva 'bateau' of which there are still a few largely reconstructed examples in use there as traditional vessels, though previously the main commercial types on the lake. It is inscribed '5 Aug[us]t Lac Leman, lower right, but no year is given. [PvdM 3/13]
