The stern and lowered staysail of a kaag

Viewed from the port bow, a careful drawing of the stemhead, block and lanyard of forestay, anchor stocks and stowed staysail of a kaag.

This is an offset, not rubbed on the back, in heavy black pencil. It was probably a drawing for the kaag in the painting (dated 1659) in Buckingham Palace (no. 170).
