Study of a dogger

A dogger viewed from the starboard broadside. Only the foot of the mainmast, the bottom of the forestay and the foresail lying over the housed bowsprit can be seen above the deck. The mizzen is lying over the quarter.

This is the same vessel as PAF6502 and was drawn about the same time.

This is an unsigned offset from an accurate original, by the Younger, which is only slightly touched with pencil. It has been very approximately dated by the style.
