A Dutch Fleet getting under way in a light breeze

A stern view of several ships seen from a distance. Others, in a port broadside view, are under way in the background. On the extreme left is the admiral of the rear with his rear-admiral stern of him and his vice-admiral coming into line on his quarter. On the right are a vice-admiral and the admiral of the van.

This is an unsigned pencil and wash drawing by the Younger. It has been approximately dated by the watermark.
