A Dutch ship close-hauled in a breeze

Viewed from close under the lee bow, a ship close-hauled on the starboard track under fore course, mizzen and topsails and spritsail with the sheets raised. There are men shown furling the spritsail topsail.

This is a faint offset and pencil by the Younger, signed ‘W.V.VJ’, broadly drawn and of doubtful period.
