A small English ship lying at anchor

A slight drawing of a small English ship, port broadside view, lying at anchor; courses hauled up, fore and main topsails lowered on the cap and mizzen topsail half-mast high.

On the back are pencil notes of late 18th century signal flags.

This is a slight pencil drawing by the Younger signed ‘W.V.VJ’. It is, according to Robinson, of very doubtful date.
