Frieze and other decoration on the quarter of a Royal yacht

The frieze, quarter-badge and ports about the mizzen chains on the port side of a ketch-rigged royal yacht (probably the ‘Fubus’) with the following points noted; not shown, ‘groet wnt 6 hoftou’ (main rigging six shrouds); before the backstay, ‘pavelijon al root’ (cabintop all red); between the second and third ports from the stern, ‘bacg stagh’ (backstay); close to the mizzen chains, ‘d schoet’ (the sheet); four ports, ‘5 losse porte met keijser hofte’ (five ports with moveable lids decorated with royal heads); drift rail, ‘root’ (red); tiller, ‘x voor d lijsels’ (x for the tiller-ropes); mizzen shrouds, ‘3 hoftoue’ (three shrouds); decoration above badge, ‘manier van een kron’ (in form of a crown).
