An English ship drying sails

A two-decker viewed from the port bow. Fore and main topsails loosed on the cap and forecourse loosely clewed up.

This is a pen and grey ink drawing by the Younger, signed in pencil ‘W.V.VJ’. It has been approximately dated by the style, but by the signature it might be somewhat earlier.
