A dogger in a light air

A near view but a slight drawing of a dogger from before the port beam.

The correct nomenclature of this type of vessel is doubtful. She has a standing gaff mainsail, square topsail, galliot mizzen, staysail and jib. She has a large leeboard.

This is an unsigned pencil drawing by the Younger, broadly done in thick pencil. It has been very approximately dated by the style.
