Dutch ships at anchor close to the shore

In the left foreground, parts of two kaags are shown close to some stakes, at the end of which is a boat with two men in it. In the right middle-distance, a starboard bow view of a ship at anchor with her fore course and main topgallant loosed; she is firing a salute. On the extreme right a port quarter view of a ship with flag at the fore at anchor. In the left middle-distance, a starboard bow view of another ship at anchor.

This is an unsigned pencil and wash drawing by the Elder.
