A Dutch flagship getting under way with States yachts nearby

In the centre middle-distance, a stern view of a ship with flag and pendant at the main. She has a light breeze on the starboard beam. Fore course and topsails are set and the main topgallant is being set. There is a States yacht close to leeward; and another, seen from the port broadside, on the flagship’s starboard quarter passing under her stern. In the left foreground, a galjoot is under sail seen from the starboard quarter. Land is depicted in the left background. It is numbered in the bottom right corner ‘5’.
