In the centre middle-distance, a port quarter view of a ship with flag at the main with her mizzen, fore topsail and mizzen topsail set. On her starboard beam, there is a ship with flag and pendant at the main still at anchor. On the left, a starboard quarter view of a ship with flag at the mizzen and pendant at the main (?graf…), possibly De Graef who was a rear-admiral in the ‘Tijdverdrif’ in 1665. On the right, there is a private ship at anchor. Many ships are shown in the distance, under way or at anchor.
