A boeier yacht, smalschip and other vessels at anchor in a Dutch harbour
In the right foreground there is a starboard quarter view of a boeier yacht with a smalschip lying alongside and on the left several kaags, smalschips and other vessels at anchor: in the right distance a church and a village.
The drawing is inscribed in the sky with an 'L' (light), and on the reverse 'int …/ op sondach den 30 meij' (Robinson points out that the 30 May was a Sunday in 1666). There is also a later inscription on the reverse 'W. Van de Velde 1677'. The drawing is unsigned.
