A States yacht in a light breeze
In the right foreground there is a starboard bow view of a States yacht under sail with a boat at her quarter. Beyond there are a number of small craft and the Dutch coast is suggested on the horizon. The Dutch States or Princes’ yacht, which had large cabins aft, were used for carrying distinguished persons or as despatch vessels. The drawing is unsigned.
